A growing part of our portfolio is focused on aquaculture — one of the most promising and fast-growing sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa’s food value chain. We are looking for a recent graduate, eager to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and commercial aquaculture practice. You will work alongside experienced farm managers and technical teams. You will be locally based and fully embedded in the operation.
Mapinga Premium Foods launched in 2023 in Dar Es Salaam and makes CheChe crisps from potatoes grown by Tanzanian farmers. The company employs over 200 people, processes over 400 tonnes of potatoes a month and sells in three regions — almost ten times the volume of a year ago. We are hiring a Director Strategic Projects to deliver projects across the operation for the next phase of growth, such as potato sourcing, production site and route to market.
